The city of Gulch is a bustling place, a haven for criminals and rogues, yet a cherished home to its natives. You might be a native, well familiar with typical, day-to-day life here. Or you may be from off-world, here for some opportunity you think you can't get elsewhere.

Or, you may have been dragged here by the dimensional portal known as the Transponser™— an outsider, confused and weary.

What will you do while you are here?

1) New arrivals: Maybe you're a mercenary who just arrived from off world. Or maybe you're a visitor who came through the transporter. Either way, you're new, and it's time to explore.

2) Taking a job: Everyone who comes to Gulch needs to have a means of making income. Maybe you've taken a job as a mercenary. Maybe you become a lowly store clerk. Either way, you need to make contact with customers.

3) Avoiding the plague: The clouds are descending and it's time to find shelter! Make your way through the streets with the others who have found themselves vulnerable.

4) Touring the city: It means a long train ride but you want to see the sights, so you pay for a token and off you go!

5) Wildcard: Whatever you want to play out! Tag around and have fun!

"There aren't any answers to the question you're trying to answer," Delta sighs. "He left. Let it go."

"Delta, you know I can't believe that. I won't."

There's conviction in his eyes there. You will not win this one.

Delta sighs. He believes it because he has to. It's easier.

"Don't get hopes up around here. We don't need that."

Epsilon nods. "I'm not planning on it. You know that I keep why I do what I do quiet. I've only told you and Omega outright."

[protective_logic]

"Your time might be better spent here helping hte family."

[wanderingmemory]

"I can try to spend more time here, Delta... But I can't be what you and Omega are to the family."

[protective_logic]

"I'm not asking you for that," Delta sighs. "I'm... I'm asking you to join us for dinner more. I worry the twins are going to forget what you look like. I'm actually thinking about giving Gamma your bed so he can have a bit more privacy."

Epsilon starts at the last bit. "Delta, I'm not leaving permanently. I wouldn't."

But sometimes, sacrifices need to be made. "I'll stop being away so much. I'll just have to get used to the wandering being limited to when I'm working..."

For now. Besides, short of him finding a lead? He won't get anywhere searching.

"I'm sure you will," Delta agrees. Passive aggressive is something he can do.

Delta's passive aggressiveness and guilt tripping are amazing, when Epsilon's close enough to really feel it.

Epsilon wants to argue. Wants to disagree with this... But he can't. "Starting now, I guess."

"Wednesdays," he smiles as he looks up. "Give me Wednesdays regularly and I'll let up."

Epsilon nods, giving in at that. It's not as much of his freedom as Delta could try for... "I can do that, Delta."

"Thanks," Delta smiles warmly. "We miss you, Eppy."

Epsilon smiles back, though his is a bit hesitant. "And even if I made the choice... I've missed you."

[protective_logic]

Oh hell. Delta moves to hug Epsilon. "You should draw with the twins. And listen to Theta talk about his skateboard."

Epsilon returns the hug at that. "You've got a point... I should be doing more of the things I've missed... Before people forget what I look like."

[protective_logic]

"And before you miss Sigma's boyfriend," Delta chuckles, letting him go.
